As a commercial point of contact for the French market, you will be responsible for driving new business growth across France.
This is a true hunter role with full sales cycle ownership. You will identify opportunities, build relationships with prospective publishers, manage the sales funnel, and close new business.
Lead publisher acquisition efforts across the French market, from prospecting to closing.
Build and maintain a healthy pipeline of qualified opportunities through outbound outreach and networking.
Own the full sales cycle, including prospecting, qualification, discovery, relationship building, proposal discussions, negotiation, and closing.
Develop and execute market penetration strategies to expand Refinery89's presence in France.
Build trusted relationships with prospective and existing publishing partners.
Collaborate closely with operational and commercial teams to ensure a smooth onboarding experience for new clients.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all sales activities within the CRM.
Consistently achieve and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
We're looking for a commercially driven sales professional who enjoys opening doors, creating opportunities, and winning new business.
You are comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment, taking ownership of your territory, and managing the entire sales process from first contact to signed agreement.
Native-level French and professional fluency in English.
2+ years of experience in B2B sales, business development, account acquisition, or a similar commercial role.
Proven experience in outbound sales activities, including cold calling, email outreach, LinkedIn prospecting, and virtual meetings.
Strong prospecting, qualification, negotiation, and closing skills.
Ability to build relationships and establish credibility with decision-makers.
Self-motivated, target-driven, and highly resilient.
Comfortable working independently while collaborating effectively with international teams.
Experience selling SaaS, Digital Marketing, Media, MarTech, AdTech, or other technology solutions.
Understanding of digital advertising, online publishing, or programmatic advertising.
Existing network within the French digital media, publishing, or advertising ecosystem.
Experience working in an international and multicultural environment.
You enjoy hunting for new business opportunities and opening new accounts.
You are energized by ambitious sales targets and performance-based goals.
You know how to build pipeline consistently rather than relying solely on inbound opportunities.
You are confident managing the complete sales funnel, from first outreach through to signed contracts.
You combine persistence with a consultative sales approach and strong commercial judgment.
The interview process for this role consists of four stages:
Initial screening – Introductory call with a recruiter.
First interview – Video call with members of the Publisher Success team.
Second interview – Video call with the Hiring Manager and/or senior stakeholders.
Final interview – In-person meeting with the Hiring Manager and key team members.
